Dr. Prudence LaBeach Pollard, Ph.D., MPR, RD, SPHR
Founder + PresidentDr. Pollard is an organizational strategist and executive consultant with deep expertise in leadership development, human resource management, and evidence-based organizational design. Holding a Ph.D. in Evaluation, Measurement and Research Design from Western Michigan University — where she earned the prestigious Women's Academic Achievement Award and was inducted into the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society — Dr. Pollard brings rigorous research methodology to the practical challenges of today's organizations.
A certified Senior Professional in Human Resource Management (SPHR), Dr. Pollard has shaped leadership and organizational culture across Fortune 50 manufacturing corporations, county and city government agencies, and major universities. Her consulting work spans for-profit and nonprofit sectors, where she designs data-driven solutions tailored to each organization's goals, culture, and capacity for growth.
Dr. Pollard has taught leadership, management, and business research at Loma Linda, Andrews, Oakwood, and La Sierra Universities, and has been an invited presenter at the American Evaluation Association and the Oxford Roundtable in Oxford, England. Her research on executive leadership behaviors and the factors behind managerial success and derailment has been published and circulated nationally and internationally.

Dr. Pollard is a distinguished executive consultant, scholar, and transformational leader whose 48 years of ministry, academic leadership, and institutional governance position him as one of the most accomplished voices in higher education and organizational strategy today.
Dr. Pollard holds five earned academic degrees, including a Ph.D. in New Testament Language and Literature and an MBA in Organizational Management — a rare combination of theological depth and business acumen that defines his consulting approach. He holds dual tenure as Full Professor of both New Testament Studies and Management at Oakwood University School of Business, has mentored doctoral students at Andrews and Loma Linda Universities.
As the 11th and longest-serving President in Oakwood University's 130-year history — elected to three consecutive terms beginning in 2010 — Dr. Pollard delivered a masterclass in institutional transformation. His administration grew the university endowment by 207%, secured $75.4 million in grant revenue, invested $80 million in campus infrastructure, launched 10 new academic programs and 4 graduate degrees, organized 5 new schools, and achieved two successful SACSCOC institutional accreditations. Under his leadership, Oakwood earned the #1-ranked Science Program among HBCUs and ranked #4 nationally for graduating African Americans in STEM. His Healthy Campus 2020 initiative earned the Crystal Apple Award from First Lady Michelle Obama in 2018.
Before his presidency, Dr. Pollard served 14 years as Vice President at Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center, overseeing diversity, community partnerships, and leadership development while administering a $1.6 million diversity scholarship fund and securing millions in grants for underrepresented minority pipeline programs.
A prolific scholar with more than 75 published articles and book chapters, Dr. Pollard's work spans leadership, cultural competency, organizational mission, and biblical studies. He currently serves as the North American Division's Clergy and Lay Minister Education Consultant, providing strategic direction for the continuing education of more than 4,000 clergy and congregational leaders across the division. In 2023, he became the first Adventist to chair the Presidents' Council of the Alabama Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and in 2024, the first Adventist appointed to the American Council on Education's Commission on Faith-based Colleges and Universities.
